MOMents Through My Lens {Linkup}

When I started looking at the world through a camera lens, suddenly there was beauty everywhere.

The tree two doors down had only been good for blowing its leaves across my yard. But through my lens it was transformed into the perfect backdrop for a little girl and her baby doll.

And though the flowers wilted and petals soon fell to the table below, my camera forever captured this backyard bouquet in my grandmother’s crock pitcher.

I am not a photographer. I’m just a collector of moments. Stories. And now images that capture it all.

What do you see when you go looking for beauty?

Feel free to share a picture or post that captures a MOMent in your life.

October is all about MOMents and Wednesdays are all about you. Your reflections. Your insights. What you want to share.

Today I’m thrilled to be giving away TWO Spots in Faith Raider’s Simply Basics Photography e Class. I took Faith’s Simply You Mentoring class earlier this year and it changed the way I saw the world.

Link up a MOMent to enter, and I’ll announce the winners on Friday.

Faith has very generously extended a special rate of $35 to ALL My 3 Little Birds readers who enroll in her new Simply Basics Photography e-Class .

From Faith: The Simply Basics eClass is for photographers with any type of camera with the goal of helping you learn basic principles of photography. This class lasts 4 weeks and is 100% online. There is something for everyone here – no matter what type of camera you own, how much time you have to devote to an online class or what level of skill you are at with your photography. Click here! Questions? Email me at faith(dot)raider(at)gmail(dot)com.

    It’s also nice to be able to focus in on one small thing so that you can’t see the chaos that surrounds you sometimes.
