MOMents Giveaway {Winner Announced}

If it takes a village to raise a child, then it takes a community to raise a blog.

The first time I covered my eyes with my hand and hit Publish I had so much to learn, and as it turns out, so much to say.

I learned quickly the importance of building the network of blogs that would keep My 3 Little Birds alive. But then something magical happened. The community fed me, not just My 3 Little Birds. And my writing changed. Suddenly I had a message, a meaning, a purpose for all of these words.

My 3 Little Birds became your story too.

October is all about MOMents, and Wednesdays are all about you. Your stories. Your life on the micro level, captured in a Mason jar to glow here for a while.

I can’t tell you how much I learned as I read each of your MOMents. I loved them all, and I hope you’ll be back to link up next week.

The MOMent I connected with most was Sheri’s post Sweet and Salty. If you haven’t read it yet, be sure to make some time to do so today. I think you’ll connect with it as well.

I’m so excited to be sending Sheri a copy of Grace for the Good Girl: Letting Go of the Try-Hard Life by Emily Freeman. I can think of a 20 year old who’d love it, too.

I’m sharing 31 MOMents in 31 days.Each Wednesday I’m encouraging you to link up your own MOMent on My 3 Little Birds. For the month of October I’ll do a giveaway for each of my favorite MOMents.

Will you join me?

    I love the network of blogs and bloggers that have become a part of my life. I love that friendships have blossomed from this thing that started out as “just a hobby.” It’s such an exciting evolution to witness.

    I’m looking forward to reading Sheri’s post! And congrats on such a successful first link-up!
